Section 8 of 13
Youth, Beauty, and the Betrayal of Time
"Mā kuru dhana jana yauvana garvaṁ
Harati nimeṣāt kālaḥ sarvam"
Meaning:
Do not be proud of wealth, people, or youth.
Time destroys everything in a blink.
Shankaracharya's Ruthlessness:
Notice the word "nimeṣāt" — in the blink of an eye.
Time does not negotiate.
It does not warn.
It does not explain.
This verse is a direct assault on:
• Vanity
• Achievement
• Social identity
What takes decades to build, time erases effortlessly.
