The first three ślokas of Bhaja Govindam are a mirror to the human mind, exposing its natural tendencies toward pride, greed, and desire. Śaṅkara's teaching is radical in its simplicity: turn to God, act ethically, and reflect deeply. These three principles, applied together, dismantle delusion (moha) and prepare the mind for liberation (moksha). In essence, the Bhaja Govindam is less about memorizing Sanskrit verses and more about reorienting life toward lasting peace and spiritual fulfillment.
